So..... we headed down the street to Meson Sebika. I always forget about this great spot. We sat outside and had a real glass of wine (or 2!) and some hot tapas. It was a great day and evening!

We woke up feeling great on Sunday and got all of our chores (laundry & grocery store) done before heading to church. That was a first! Then we went to Cantigny Park in Wheaton and had a picnic under the beautiful trees.

Afterwards we went home to watch the Bears play the Steelers. It was a great game and I'm actually really understanding football for the first time in my life! A little eye candy doesn't hurt! I heart Greg Olsen! :)
you are really trying to get the hubby riled up with all the talk of this crush! looks like you two enjoyed a perfect fall weekend- thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteI guess this is one of those compromises we heard so much about before we got married.. If I want to watch football on Sundays, I guess I have to come to terms with my wife oogling Greg Olsen, and any other big, strapping player she happens to have a crush on that day. And I'm OK with that.
ReplyDeleteNow.. who wants to sign my petition stating that all NFL cameramen need to spend a minimum of 30 minutes per game, focused on the cheerleaders? All in favor, say Aye-yi-YI! :))
